Terms of Service

Guru.Anveshi.ai reads the schoolwork you upload (an assignment, a chapter or syllabus, finished or graded pages, a recording, or a writing task), works through it, has that work independently checked by multiple AI systems, and delivers finished guides: study guides, Prep & Practice Guides with short video lessons, reviews of finished work, and writing guides. The student a guide is for does not sign in, does not use any chat or AI interface, and is never given direct access to the AI systems behind the service. They receive the finished guide on paper or through a share link you create.

You must be at least 18 years old, and one of the following:

• the parent or legal guardian of each student whose work you upload;
• an adult using the service for your own learning;
• a teacher or tutor whose students’ parents or guardians (or the students themselves, if adults) have agreed to your uploading their work, and who follows any rules of the student’s school about sharing school records; or
• an academy, under a written agreement with us. Where that agreement differs from these terms, the agreement wins.

By ticking the box on a request you confirm that this is true for that request. You are responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in secure, and for what is uploaded through it.

Every guide is independently checked by multiple AI systems before it reaches you. Where the checks disagree, we work it out before delivery, and where the source material does not settle a point, the guide says so at that question. If a checking system is unavailable, the guide is checked by those that are, and it says so. If we cannot read part of what you sent, the guide and its email tell you.

Review by a person (a Guru Fellow) is an optional paid add-on, not part of every guide. Even with these checks, we do not guarantee that every answer is correct, and a guide is not a substitute for a teacher’s judgment or your own review. Treat each guide as a study aid to read and discuss with your student, not as an unquestionable answer key.

We do not guarantee how quickly a guide arrives. Most are ready well within a day, but long or complex requests take longer, so ask for a guide well before you need it.

You keep whatever rights you have in what you upload. You give us permission to store it, process it and send it to our service providers only to make, check, deliver and support your guides and to improve the service, as the Privacy Policy describes. We do not use your uploads to train AI models, and we do not sell them.

Your guides and their videos are yours to use: you may read, print and share them for your own learning and your students’ learning. You may not sell them or offer them as part of a paid product without a written agreement with us. The service itself (its software, the design and format of its guides, and its video lessons’ presentation) remains ours.

Payments go through our payment processor (Stripe); we do not store your card details. Prices, and any tax, are shown before you pay.

• Plans.A monthly or annual plan gives its guides each billing month, starting on the day you subscribed. Plan guides not used by the end of that month expire. A plan renews automatically at the price shown until you cancel. You can cancel at any time on the Billing page; the plan then runs to the end of the period already paid for. If we change a plan’s price, we email you at least 14 days before your next renewal at the new price.
• Banked guides. Extra guides added to a plan, and guides from a one-off purchase, are banked in your account and do not expire.
• Free and granted guides. Guides given at no charge, such as those at sign-up, by referral, or to accounts in places where we do not yet take payment (for example, India), can be used as stated when they are given. They have no cash value and cannot be refunded or exchanged for money.
• Academies are arranged and invoiced under their written agreement.
• Each request shows how many guides it counts as before you confirm it.

• Anything paid for and not used: refunded in full if you ask within 30 days of paying. This covers an unused plan or unused purchased guides.
• Your first 3 guides are free. Every new account gets 3 guides at no charge, to use within 30 days, so you can find out whether this works for your student before paying anything.
• A guide that never generated: its guide goes back to your balance automatically. We retry a failed guide once on our own; if the retry also fails, the guide it would have used is returned and we tell you.
• A guide that is wrong: we fix it, at no charge. Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we will rebuild it. If the rebuilt guide still is not right, we return the guide it used to your balance. This is us standing behind the work, not a promise that every answer is perfect (see section 3).
• If a teacher review finds a real mistake, the guide is corrected and re-issued at no charge.The guide’s credit is not returned, and the review fee pays for the teacher’s time and is not refunded.

Money refunds go back to the original payment method, usually within 10 business days. Email guru@anveshi.ai from your account’s email address. Nothing here takes away a refund that the consumer law where you live gives you.

Use the service only for real schoolwork belonging to a student in your care or teaching, or for your own learning. Don’t upload material you don’t have the right to share, or anything unlawful. Don’t use the service in a way that breaks your school’s academic-integrity rules: it is a study aid, not a substitute for a student doing their own assessed work. Don’t try to break, overload, copy or resell the service.

You can close your account at any time by emailing us; we then delete your information as the Privacy Policy describes. Unused paid guides are refundable under section 6.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. We will tell you why and, unless the problem is serious, urgent or unlawful, give you a chance to put it right first. If we close your account for any other reason, or stop offering the service, we will give you at least 30 days’ notice and refund guides you paid for and have not used.

We provide the service with care, but as a study aid and as it is, without promises beyond those in these terms, to the extent the law allows. We are not responsible for grades, exam results, admissions or other academic outcomes, for decisions made by a school or teacher, or for indirect or consequential losses.

Our total liability to you for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and 100 US dollars. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, such as for fraud, or the rights you have under the consumer law where you live, including consumer guarantees in Australia.

If something goes wrong, email us first; we will try to resolve it within 30 days. These terms are governed by the laws of Texas, USA, and disputes go to the courts there. If you use the service as a consumer outside the United States, you keep the protection of your country’s mandatory consumer laws, and you may also bring a claim in your local courts where those laws allow.

If we make a material change, we will email account holders at least 14 days before it takes effect and post the new version here with a new effective date. If you don’t agree, you can close your account before then, and we will refund guides you paid for and have not used. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the change.
