How it works
Six steps. Your guide is usually ready in minutes, and there is nothing your child has to log into.
You send the work
A PDF, photos of the page, even a recording of a test review. Handwriting is fine. You add a sentence about what you want — "she keeps missing the proofs" is enough — and name which student it's for.
Every page gets read
Not skimmed for keywords. The actual questions, the diagrams, the numbers printed on the worksheet, and anything your child already wrote on it.
The problems get worked out
Solved from scratch, the way a tutor would at a table — why this step follows from that one, what the question is really testing — not looked up and not summarised. Diagrams are drawn where a picture makes it land.
Two more AI systems check it, from two other companies
The worked draft goes to two other AI systems — each from a different company than the one that solved it — and each reads it independently. They frequently disagree with the draft, and sometimes with each other, which is the point of asking two. For a graded-test review they also see your child's actual pages.
Disagreements are settled before you see them
A flagged point is resolved, not forwarded. Where the evidence genuinely can't settle something, the guide says exactly that at the question — "the worksheet doesn't give this length" is an answer, and an honest one.
You get a PDF
Branded, organised by unit, and kept in your portal until you delete it. You decide what your child sees and when. Share it with a passcode-protected link if you'd rather they read it on a phone.

Upload a syllabus, a chapter, or a unit outline for any subject, and Guru writes a Prep & Practice Guide: six short lessons on the ideas that matter most at that level — what each is in the course’s own method, one worked example with the reasoning before the answer, the mistake to watch for — then a 12-question practice test in the form the course uses, printed without answers. Prepare, then test. Your child works it; you upload the pages; the review that comes back says which ideas are solid and which are not — and ends with the next practice set for exactly the ones that were missed. We call the cycle the Guru Chakra, the wheel of learning, and each turn of it is a record of where your child is.
The first Prep & Practice Guide for each child is free. After that one is one credit, and a review of the finished pages is priced like any other guide.
Which subjects
We’re strongest in maths and science for roughly ages 11 to 18 — middle and high school, secondary school, classes 6 to 12 — because that’s where diagrams and worked reasoning earn their keep, and where we test hardest. But nothing about the method is particular to maths. If your child is stuck on something else, send it.
Any curriculum. We work from the assignment itself, not from a syllabus we assume, so American, CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE or IB makes no difference to the guide. Prices are in US dollars; your card is charged in your own currency at your bank’s rate.
Beyond grade 12?
Guru is for school families today. The Guru Way behind it — learning as a process — is not limited to school. If you would use it for college, a professional course or your own research, leave your email and we will tell you when there is a version for you. Nothing else; no account.
As the term goes on
Guides collect by subject and unit. Once there are a few, you can ask for a Master Review Guide & Cheat Sheet that pulls the whole unit together — what keeps getting missed, the rules worth memorising, and a two-page sheet for the night before a test.
If your child has already taken the test, send the graded attempt and you get a different document: what they actually got wrong, which idea it traces back to, and how many marks were riding on it.
If you want a person to look at it
Any guide can be reviewed by a practicing teacher whose credential we verified, or an experienced math educator whose teaching background we checked — for $29. They read it beside the original assignment and judge whether it teaches the material properly for your child.
If they find a real mistake, the guide is refunded. The review pays for a teacher’s time and stays paid; the guide that was wrong comes back corrected, with its credit returned.
A review depends on a teacher picking it up, so we won’t promise you an hour. We tell you when someone has started, and your guide is yours to use the whole time — buying a review never takes it away from you.
What we do with your child’s work
Your guides stay until you delete them. You paid for them; they don’t expire.
The work you upload is deleted after 90 days. Scans of your child’s schoolwork are the most sensitive thing we hold and serve no purpose once the guide exists, so we remove them on a rolling schedule rather than keeping them indefinitely. Full detail on the privacy page.
