What a guide is
A guide is one topic of your learner’s own work, taught step by step and checked before it reaches you. It covers every question in that topic, with no limit on how many. Every guide is a turn of the Guru Chakra — Prepare, Practice, Review, Repeat:
- Prepare: a Prep & Practice Guide. Before a unit or a test: a short lesson on each idea, worked examples, and a practice test at the end.
- Homework: a guide for an assignment. For each question, the idea, a hint and a worked example of a similar problem come first, so the learner does the work. Full solutions are at the back, to check it.
- Review: send a graded test. We read the learner’s own answers, show what was missed and why, and end with a practice set on exactly those ideas.
Each of these is one guide, and each turn starts where the last one left off: the review finds the gap, the practice works on it, and the next review shows whether it’s closing.
In every guide: written for one learner, at their grade, from their own pages; the reasoning before every answer; diagrams where a picture helps, each checked against its question; the Guru Seal — independently checked by multiple AI systems before it reaches you; a free practice test with every guide and every review; and a finished PDF in your portal, filed by subject and unit, yours to keep.
Long assignments come back as one booklet, one guide per topic. You see how many guides it counts as before anything is used.

Upload a syllabus, a chapter, or a unit outline for any subject, and Guru writes a Prep & Practice Guide: short lessons on the ideas that matter most at the grade or class you choose — what each is in the course’s own method, one worked example with the reasoning before the answer, the mistake to watch for — then a practice test in the form the course uses, printed without answers. If you want to check the work yourself, ask for a separate answer key; the practice stays a test. Every lesson can come with a short video lesson made from the guide, whenever you want them (counts as one more guide). The learner works it; you upload the pages; the review that comes back says which ideas are solid and which are not — and ends with the next practice set for exactly the ones that were missed. We call the cycle the Guru Chakra, the wheel of learning — Prepare, Practice, Review, Repeat — and each turn of it is a record of where the learner is.

If you want a person to look at it
A Guru Fellow — a practicing teacher whose credential we verified, or an experienced educator whose teaching background we checked — can review any guide, including a Prep & Practice Guide, for $24. The Fellow reads the guide beside the assignment or class material it was made from and judges whether it teaches the subject properly.
If they find a real mistake, the guide is corrected and re-issued at no charge. The $24 pays for the teacher's time, so it stays paid either way. We don't promise a time, because a review waits for a teacher to pick it up. The guide's page shows when a Fellow has started, and the guide is yours to use the whole time.
How Guru Fellow reviews workHow fast, and what subjects
Guides are usually ready in minutes. We don’t charge more to go faster.
Any subject, in any language, at any level — from the early grades to college and adult learners. You choose the grade or class each guide is written for. A course taught in another language gets its guide in that language. Writing tasks — a summary, an essay, a response, a report — have their own guide. The most testing is behind math and the sciences, where drawn diagrams and worked reasoning carry the most weight.
Any curriculum. We work from the assignment itself, not from a syllabus we assume, so American, CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE or IB makes no difference to the guide.
Learning for yourself?
The same guides work for an adult learning on their own — a language exam, a professional course, a piece of writing you want to get right. On your first request, type your own name and tick “This is me”, and the guides are written to you, at the level you choose — college, a professional exam, or as an adult. The rules do not change: you receive a finished guide, not a chat.
For a class or an academy
Teachers and tutors: upload a whole class’s finished pages at once with Review a batch. Each student gets their own Performance Review, ending with their own next practice set. Your record, as guides accumulate
Every family gets a progress view for each learner — what has been covered across units and semesters, how many questions have been worked, and, for every guide, what was checked before it reached you: which independent checks ran, what disagreements were settled before delivery, and where a check could not run and we carried on without it.
And across school years. Start at any grade and the record becomes a trajectory: what was covered each year, which ideas from an earlier year are still behind this year’s misses, and whether a gap is closing. Guru keeps that record; nothing else in a learner’s life does.
None of it is an AI summary of a learner. It is counted from what we recorded at the time.
What every guide includes
- If you’re a parent or guardian setting this up for a young learner, rest assured: your child never logs in and never talks to an AI. You steer their learning along the paths Guru designs. No chat, no student login, no student account — you receive a finished document and decide what they see. Learning for yourself, the same holds: a finished guide, not a chat.
- The Guru Seal on every guide. Checked independently by multiple AI systems; where they disagree we settle it rather than passing you a warning. If a check could not run, the guide says so.
- No student account, no ads, no third-party tracking. We hold your child’s first name, the schoolwork you upload, the guides and videos we make from it, and what is watched and bookmarked in those videos, so you can see it — and uploads are deleted after 90 days. Full detail on the privacy page.
- The thinking before the answer. In a homework guide, each question starts with the idea, a hint and a worked example of a similar problem; the full solutions are at the back, to check the work. Diagrams where a picture makes it land — each one checked, and redrawn or left out if it fails.
